I’m a writer right? I spend a lot of time writing, do I not? Yeah, I know, I spend more time with the ‘typed’ word than I do with the verbal, but such is life.
For me, writing is more than just a way to communicate. It is one way I can be original and really express my thoughts, feelings and opinions either in a creative way or in a more factual form. I’ve been writing ever since I could hold a pencil, which means for more than 20 years.
Several websites have regular contributed content from though, though the one that is specifically designed for ‘practice’ hasn’t seen any thing new from me for a few months (maybe time to change that?). These sites recieve informative, creative and converstational writings from me, which is what I believe is expected from a member. And yes, sometimes I go overboard with my word count, which is something I am trying to work on, though from this blog post, you wouldn’t know it.

Creative writing is where my real talents are, though creative writing, for me, is probably the hardest writing of all. Why? Because it can be hard to keep things consistant and ‘real’ to a reader, which is very important if a piece of writing is to be considered a ‘good read’.
Ever a thinker, I got my special thinking cap on the other night (when I really should have been asleep!!!!) and started thinking about ways to indulge in some creative writing without actually having to write to a specific title. You know, throw out the guidelines and just see where it takes me kind of writing, the best kind of writing there is.

Conclusion from this sleepless night of thinking is that I should start a serial story here on my own site. One that just evolves and there is no pressure, though with the aim of posting at least a 300 word segment every week (and trying to keep the word count below 2000 words per post). It might sound crazy, considering I struggle to write regularly here as it is, but I think it could work.
Yeah, I like that idea. Now, I guess I just have to come up with some inspirations and get typing away…
